Interchange Fee
All Transactions for Card Present (CP) and Card Not Present (CNP) Including Government and Its Agencies
With effect from 1 January 2023, the interchange fees applied to MyDebit transactions include:
Issuer Interchange Fee
0.10%
of transaction value
OR
RM0.37
0.001%
from the value of transaction amount
Example
For a transaction of RM100, the interchange fee would be calculated as:
  • Option A: 0.10% of RM100 = RM0.10
  • Option B: RM0.37 + 0.001% of RM100 = RM0.37 + RM0.001 = RM0.37
OEM Wallet
OEM Wallet Transactions
With effect from 1 July 2026, the interchange fees applied to OEM Wallet transactions include:
Transactions initiated via OEM Wallet services including Apple Pay and future enabled OEM Wallets.
Additional Issuer Interchange Fee:
+ 0.10%
of transaction value
Example
For an OEM Wallet transaction of RM100, the additional interchange fee would be calculated as:
0.10% of RM100 = RM0.10
