You can make an IBG transfer through three channels:
Channel 1 – Internet and Mobile Banking
Transfer funds easily through your bank internet or mobile banking platform using the Interbank GIRO option.
Channel 2 – Over the Counter
Visit any participating bank branch and fill in the Interbank GIRO form. You will need to provide the beneficiary’s name, account number and the amount to transfer. Indicate your mode of payment (cash or debit from your Current or Savings Account) and the bank will process your request.
Channel 3 – ATM & Phone Banking
You can also use your bank ATM or Phone Banking services (where available). Please check with your bank for details.

You can transfer funds from your Current or Savings Account to another participating bank account including Current, Savings, Loan, Financing or Credit card Accounts.
If the account number entered is incorrect the transaction may be rejected by the receiving bank and the funds will be refunded (refer to the Fund Availability table). You may also contact your bank to request a recovery of funds. The bank will do its best to help recover the funds.
Yes. You can use additional details such as identification number, Business Registration Number (BRN), passport number or police or army ID to help ensure the funds go to the correct recipient.
You can check the transaction history in your internet or mobile banking app or confirm directly with the recipient. If the transfer is unsuccessful the amount will be refunded.
