PayNet and Shell Enable MyDebit at over 1,000 Stations in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 April 2025 – Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), the national payments network and central financial infrastructure provider, has partnered with Shell to make payments easier for customers through its MyDebit services. EBective 19 March 2025,customers can now seamlessly complete transactions using their MyDebit ATM cards (MyDebit) - across all Shell stations nationwide.

With this collaboration, MyDebit is now accepted at over 1,000 Shell stations in Malaysia. Customers can use their MyDebit cards for secure and hassle-free payments at Shell for fuel purchases as well as at Shell Select convenience stores. This makes Shell the largest mobility retailer in Malaysia to oBer MyDebit, further enhancing payment convenience for consumers.

To celebrate this partnership, Shell and PayNet have launched ’Ganjaran Raya Lebih Jauh’ dengan Shell FuelSave” campaign, encouraging Shell App users to pay with their MyDebit cards at Shell stations.

The Hub is a highly selective programme with two key pillars: Community and Catalyst. Fintechs selected into the Community will get direct access to:

• A community of like-minded founders and ecosystem players to exchange ideas and share learnings
• Over 450 hours of hands-on mentorship by a network of hand-selected successful founders and domain experts
• Major corporate players from banking, payments, and tech for partnership opportunities
• A pool of fintech investors who can mentor, evaluate and invest in Fintech Hub member

From 22 March to 9 May 2025,customers who spend a minimum of RM50 on any Shell Fuels or RM10 at Shell Select will have a chance to win exciting prizes throughout the seven-week campaign. Each participant can earn up to five entries, with 102 winners selected every week to take home exclusive rewards, including:

• 1,000,000 BonusLink points
• RM200 Shell Fuel Vouchers
• And two grand prizes:
