Certifying Trust in Every Transaction
In 2015, PayNet (via MEPS and MyClear) introduced the Malaysian Chip Card Specification (MCCS), a dual-interface EMV standard for contact and contactless payments. Fully adopted by 2017, over 23 million cards were transitioned. As Malaysia’s sole certification authority, PayNet operates an ISO 17025:2017 accredited lab (certified by Jabatan Standard Malaysia) for functional and security testing, ensuring MCCS compliance across chip cards, terminals, mobile payments and payment systems.
